Title: Evaluating the Impact of a National Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Curriculum on Infectious Diseases Fellows and Fellowship Programs

We are inviting you to participate in our study because you are in a fellowship training program that is implementing the new Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship curriculum this year. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of this curriculum in teaching Infectious Diseases (ID) fellows antimicrobial stewardship principles and skills to prepare them to become leaders in antimicrobial stewardship programs.

We plan to survey faculty and ID fellows at all training programs who are implementing the curriculum this year. You will be asked to complete a short online survey, which should take approximately 5-10 minutes. All identifiable data will be anonymized prior to analysis. Your individual answers to this survey will not be shared with any individuals in your training program. Although we have made every effort to protect your identify by using de-identification and independent researchers, there is a minimal risk of loss of confidentiality. You may benefit directly from this study as information gained from this study will be used to improve the IDSA Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship curriculum.

Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary, and you are free to choose not to serve as a research subject in this protocol for any reason. You may refuse to answer any questions that you do not wish to answer. If you choose to participate and later change your mind, you may quit this survey at any time and ask for your data to be removed from the study. If you refuse to participate or withdraw from the study, there will be no penalty or loss of any benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
