HIV Medicine in Clinical Practice Maintenance of Certification
The IDSA HIV Medicine in Clinical Practice MOC Module is a tool for self-evaluation of medical knowledge in HIV Medicine in Clinical Practice medicine. The module consists of 30 multiple-choice questions; the majority contain case-based information and all include educational links and answer rationales. IDSA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. IDSA designates this enduring material (module) for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™
Target Audience
This CME activity is intended for infectious diseases physicians, ID academicians, and internal medicine physicians.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Identify gaps in HIV medical knowledge where further study is needed for board preparation and patient care
- Improve competence in the area of HIV medicine regarding diagnosis, treatments, and other aspects of patient management
- Evaluate and revise patient management strategies
- Improve clinical decision-making skills in HIV medicine
